The TRD Cold Air Intake system takes cool air from behind and below the headlight area, rather than hot air from the engine compartment, giving the engine a cooler, denser air supply for increased horsepower and improved cooling. It is designed to work with your factory ECU and emissions system, and is emissions-legal in all 50 states.
The system has been shown to increase power up to 11.2 HP at 6,750 RPM, and to increase torque as much as 9.0 ft.-lbs. The candy-apple-red, powder-coated intake tube works with the existing mass-airflow sensor to ensure proper air-fuel ratio; the smoothly contoured shape increases cylinder filling for smooth response and drivability. The Included conical air filter can be cleaned and reused for the life of your vehicle.
