Sway Bars

TRD Sway Bars give your Toyota a flatter, more stable cornering stance.  They are typically 25% to 100% stiffer than stock.  They are constructed of high-quality spring steel, powder-coated to prevent corrosion and road damage.

TRD Sway Bars work with either stock suspension or a lowered vehicle.  Most are sold spring steel; bars for the Supra and Matrix are tubular, for decreased weight without sacrificing strength and durability.

Most bars include poly-urethane bushings; they are firm and durable, but must be pre-greased with non-lithium, non-water based chassis lube to reduce noise.

Some TRD Sway Bar sets, such as those for the Spyder and AE86 Corolla, use rubber bushings.  These have a stiffer rubber composition than the OEM bushings, and require no lubrication.
